Cross-Linked Polyethylene

Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Custom Fabricated To Your Exact Specifications – Gaskets, Seals, Pads and More

SRP is a leading converter of foam materials such as cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). We manufacture high-quality custom cross-linked polyethylene foam gaskets, seals, and other products for a variety applications and industries to companies around the world. Some of the most commonly known cross-linked polyethylene materials are Volara™, Fuzion™, Plastizote™, Microcell™ and Vizion™.

Cross-linked polyethylene foam is an aesthetically pleasing material that provides a wide range of performance benchmarks. Cross-linked polyethylene foam has been chemically cross-linked; solidifying in a smooth uniform plank with massive aesthetic appeal & superior physical & chemical characteristics; compared to conventional polyethylene.

Crosslinked polyethylene foam has many of the same characteristics as conventional polyethylene foam except that crosslinked polyethylene foam has the capacity to protect class “A” surfaces.

Volara®, Fuzion™, Plastizote®, Microcell™ and Vizion™ branded cross-linked polyethylene foam can be laminated a pressure sensitive adhesive and die-cut for use in a variety of applications across many industries.

Volara® is flexible and has a smooth surface. Volara® has high temperature resistance and low absorbtion. Volara® also has excellent thermal insulation and chemical resistance properties.

Fuzion™ Cross-linked polyehtylene offers superior consistency and performance. Fuzion™ rolls are lightweight, waterproof, shock absorbent and come in a wide variety of densities, roll widths, custom roll lengths and colors to satisfy your specific application.

Plastazote® foams are engineered to offer superior performance and lighter weight. The absence of any chemical agents in the foam and a consistency of cell structure and density allows Zotefoams to offer the world’s lightest cross-linked foams.

Special grades with increased flame-retarding properties, and/or conductive or static-dissipative characteristics are available.
