We work with a variety of cellular urethane foams, but our go to is PORON® urethane. PORON® urethane has excellent compression set resistance, which enables durable, long-term performance for gasketing, sealing, and cushioning. It is a low-outgassing and non-fogging material, containing no plasticizers or residual chemicals to contaminate the device. The material will not become brittle and crumble and is non-corrosive to metal. PORON® urethane is inherently flame retardant without the use of additives. Many of the materials meet flammability requirements of UL HBF and MVSS 302. It has good chemical resistance and is easy to fabricate, die-cuts cleanly, and works with a broad range of adhesives.
Flexible open cell polyurethane foam is an extremely versatile flexible material. Polyurethane can address a wide range of application requirements from vibration control in speakers to medical equipment packaging. Polyurethane foams can be produced in different densities, firmness, resiliency, colors, absorbency, and other properties that make it an ideal solution for many products. An added attribute of polyurethane foams is that they are incredibly easy convert and die-cut. Polyurethane foam is a lightweight material that can be laminated with a pressure sensitive adhesive and die-cut to shape to fit into any application.
Norseal® silicone foam rubber provides excellent flame retardance (UL 94 V-0) with low toxicity and smoke generation in a conformable expanded cellular material.
Cross-linked polyethylene foam is an aesthetically pleasing material that provides a wide range of performance benchmarks. Cross-linked polyethylene foam has been chemically cross-linked; solidifying in a smooth uniform plank with massive aesthetic appeal & superior physical & chemical characteristics; compared to conventional polyethylene. Volara™, Fuzion™, Plastizote™, Microcell™ and Vizion branded cross-linked polyethylene foam can be laminated a pressure sensitive adhesive and die-cut for use in a variety of applications across many industries.
Crushed foam has superior resistance to heat and chemicals allows stable and consistent performance over long periods of time. A wide range of types are available depending on usage, from flame retardant to soft or high-compression. The superior performance of crushed foam can be found in industries and products from the automotive industry to home appliances.
EVA foam is an elastomeric polymer that produces materials, which are “rubber-like” in softness and flexibility. The material has good low-temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot and resistance to UV radiation. EVA formulations are cured (crosslinked normally with peroxides) they have good weathering, ozone resistance and are Sulphur free. Closed cell EVA foam is used in a variety of industrial and commercial gasket and sealing applications. EVA foam exhibits good mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance, high buoyancy, low water absorption, good acoustic properties, and is extremely lightweight.

Enormously versatile and always in demand, Rogers’ collection of BISCO® silicone materials has been specifically developed for use in a wide range of heat shielding and insulating applications. Silicone materials are well known as thermal and electrical insulators as well as useful for gasketing, cushioning, and sealing.
