Specification Grade Materials for the Defense Industry

Certain industries require specification grade materials for applications that are proven to withstand certain environmental extremes. The military and defense industry require the use of elastomeric materials to be certified Mil-Spec for various properties including; physical, electrical and thermal, temperature resistance, flammability and outgassing, and environmental. Standardization is beneficial in ensuring products meet certain requirements, commonality, reliability, and compatibility. SRP commonly converts many of these materials at our manufacturing facility here in the United States. These materials include; rubber, sponge, foam, plastic, film and insulation paper.
