SRP is a leading converter of closed cell sponge rubber materials such as Neoprene/EPDM/SBR sponge rubber blend. We manufacture high-quality custom Neoprene/EPDM/SBR sponge gaskets, seals, and other products for a variety applications and industries to companies around the world.
This particular closed cell sponge rubber is a blend of different elastomer types including neoprene, SBR, and EPDM. It is an industry standard, widely used material that is durable and great for general purpose applications. It is also cost effective when compared to its parent materials.
Closed Cell Neoprene/EPDM/SBR sponge rubber has moderate weather resistance properties that benefit from the EPDM. It has good resistance to outdoor weathering effects such as UV and Ozone. The SBR part of the blend creates a more durable sponge rubber. SBR is known for its superior physical strength and resistance to physical abrasions. Neoprene brings resistance to oil and light to the table. Neoprene is very good at resisting the otherwise damaging effects of various oils and greases.
Closed Cell Neoprene/EPDM/SBR has a temperature range of -70° F to 225° F, with a durometer rating of 40-60. This is an ideal for use as a general-purpose type of sponge rubber at an affordable rate. Closed Cell Neoprene/EPDM/SBR is perfect for converting into gaskets and seals. All closed cell sponge rubber materials can be supplied with a pressure sensitive adhesive.
We provide our customers with everything from material sampling and product prototyping to full manufacturing, packaging, and delivery. We provide value to our customers by delivering exceptional customer service, engineering solutions, and quality products to meet their every need.
