PVC/Nitrile Sponge

SRP is a leading converter of closed cell sponge rubber materials such as PVC/Nitrile sponge rubber. We manufacture high-quality custom PVC/Nitrile sponge rubber gaskets, seals, and other products for a variety applications and industries to companies around the world.

This blend of materials offers excellent oil and fluid resistance, and possesses non-flammable properties and excellent resistance to weathering. The reason PVC/Nitrile is so versatile is due to it having an excellent performance against heat loss. Resulting in superb thermal conductivity. It also is impermeable to water and air making it perfect as a condensation and liquid barrier. PVC/Nitrile also aids in the protection against corrosion as it is oil and weather resistant. PVC/Nitrile is flexible, dust and fiber free allowing the ease of installation. It also has a high standard of thermal and sound insulating properties with exceptional vibration dampening properties.

Due to these characteristics, it is perfect to manufacture seals and gaskets for vibration dampening, acoustic and thermal insulations. PVC/Nitrile meets the following specifications: ASTM D 1056-68, 1056-85, 91, 98, UL 94 HF-1, UL 94 VO, and FMVSS-302. All PVC/Nitrile parts can be supplied with a pressure sensitive adhesive.
